Abhishek Bachchan WALKS OUT of JP Dutta’s Paltan

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who announced that he is going to be a part of JP Dutta’s next venture Paltan, has walked out of the movie just 24 hours before the team left to shoot in Ladakh, reported Indian Express. The 41-year-old actor, who made his Bollywood debut with J P Dutta’s 2000 movie Refugee and later starred in his films like LOC Kargil and Umrao Jaan, has quit the project for reasons unknown. Talking to Indian Express, the film’s producer Nidhi Dutta said that the news came as a ‘shock’ to them.

“Abhishek Bachchan is no longer part of Paltan for personal reasons best known to him. It has come as a shock to us as this happened less than 24 hours before our unit left to shoot in Ladakh,” Nidhi Dutta said.

CONFIRMED! Hrithik To Play Anand Kumar In Biopic ‘Super 30’

There were speculations about Hrithik Roshan stepping into the shoes of mathematician Anand Kumar for a biopic on Super 30. Well now, the makers have revealed that these reports are true. Hrithik who was last seen as a visually-challenged lover in Kaabil, will be now crunching numbers in his next.

It all began when a picture of a meeting between Anand and Hrithik that was arranged by the makers at the latter’s house went viral on the internet. An insider to the development told, “The film will show not just what the world knows about Anand, but also his intriguing back story. It will be interesting to see Hrithik get into the skin of this character as it is also very different from what we have seen the actor do on screen before.”

Ranveer Singh To Play KAPIL DEV In Kabir Khan’s Next

Few months ago, there were reports about ‘Tubelight’ director Kabir Khan planning to do a film on 1983 World Cup. Later, the filmmaker confirmed that this movie is indeed in the pipeline. Well, we now have it that the makers have finally finalized Ranveer Singh as the actor who will be essaying the role of Kapil Dev in this flick.

After early reports about Arjun Kapoor starring in the film, the role finally went to Ranveer Singh. The casting is in progress for the supporting cast and more announcements are awaited for the same. The film is slated to roll early next year and will be shot in real locations. Co-producer of the flick Vishnu Vardhan Induri said, “With his energy and passion, we feel that Ranveer is a perfect fit to play Kapil Dev.”

ALL IS WELL Between Sonakshi-Jacqueline

Jacqueline Fernandez and Sonakshi Sinhaa were a part of Salman Khan’s Dabangg tour. But, during the tour Jacqueline Fernandez and Sonakshi Sinha had a misunderstanding of sorts backstage when they had to co-perform with Salman. The two may well be co-stars of Salman Khan in different films, but they were also his co-performers on stage. And it so happened that the two got into an altercation back stage. The decibel levels reached Salman’s ears and the actor had to step in to diffuse the situation.

Salman reached to them and asked them to calm down. Seeing Salman there, both the actresses not only calm down immediately but hugged each other too. Sonakshi and Jacqueline were also seen hugging each other warmly after they reached Indian shores from the tour.

Tapsee Pannu Comes to RESCUE of Big B

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently faced a lot of criticism on social media after he uploaded an all-male picture to celebrate one year of his 2016 blockbuster Pink. Now, Taapsee Pannu, who featured as one of the female protagonist in the film, believes that the 74-year-old actor did not exclude the female cast intentionally.

“I am 100 percent sure he won’t have deliberately chosen a picture in which we weren’t there. In fact in all the award functions, after receiving the award he used to always mention ‘I want to thank the three girls for this film’,” the 30-year-old actress said. Pink won the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues. In the film, Big B featured as a lawyer, who defended three girls, played by Taapsee, Kriti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang.
