Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek Bachchan Together?

Just a while ago, we had reported that Rajkumar Santoshi is planning to start another movie with Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role. Even as Santoshi is completely involved in the filming of his forthcoming Amitabh Bachchan-Ajay Devgan starrer Khakee, he has been active with the pre-production work for his next venture.
The latest on the Abhishek starrer is that Sanjay Dutt has been added to the cast and, if reports are to be believed, Sanjay Dutt´s character in the movie will be having negative shades.
The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan and is set to start rolling once Khakee finishes.

Urmila regains lost ground

Urmila Matondkar is back! Bhoot is to hit the theatres soon. Unlike Kaun and Pyar Tune Kya Kiya, in Bhoot it is Urmila who is going to be on the other side of the fence. Basically it is her own fears that she has to deal with. Bhoot has no bhoot per se. As Ramu puts it, Bhoot is her best performance till date. Urmila is also excited about Pinjar and Ek Hasina Thi.

Amitabh Bachchan among greatest 100 film stars

With his inclusion in the list of the top 100 stars of all time, Amitabh Bachchan has made a place among celebrated Hollywood stars like Sean Connery, Anthony Hopkins, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Harrison Ford.
The vote, aired last week, lists Bachchan at 92nd place among the 100 top stars.
Bachchan was earlier voted as the star of the millennium in a poll conducted by BBC on-line.
In his more than three decades of acting career under Bollywood arc lamps, Amitabh has acted in over 70 films. He will soon be seen acting in Honey Irani’s Armaan.

Good sport Tusshar takes duds in his stride

In Bollywood, it is fashionable being aggressive even if you have had three flops in a row. Tusshar Kapoor is a good sport. He’s down to earth, unaffected by starry airs (considering he’s had a hit at debut, Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, he doesn’t quite gloat about that minute detail) and brutally honest about his bad luck at the box office (he’s drummed up three flops: Jeena Sirf Merre Liye, Kuch To Hai and Yeh Dil): "I can’t say that I didn’t deserve a flop, the fault lies elsewhere. Sometimes the best of intentions also don’t yield positive results.
Apart from Kuch To Hai that did reasonably good business at the box office, the others just didn’t manage decent business."
Tusshar confesses that the media has usually been kind to him but there are times when he’s been at the receiving end too. Like when he replaced Akshaye Khanna in Raj Santoshi’s Khakee. A journalist called him up at midnight to seek a clarification. "I told him I am returning home the next day and could we talk then. The next day I was accused of being arrogant. Akshaye and I haven’t stopped talking because of Khakee, we aren’t hostile rivals, but polite contemporaries," clarifies Tusshar.
Tusshar who’s travelling to Dubai later this week is loath to divulge too much about Khakee. "The script is powerful and it’s not your usual cops and bad guys story. Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya lead the cast. Every day when I go shooting I feel like a greenhorn," feels Tusshar.
As for hits, Tusshar, who’s signed a couple of new films admits: "Being part of a hit brigade will be fine, but I am trying hard to make an impression as an actor." Sounds just right!
