Air India links Delhi-Jabalpur
Air
India is spreading its wings wider on the domestic network with a new
connection from Delhi to Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh from February 16,
2008. The flight CD 7817 / 7818 will operate four days a week via
Gwalior on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with an all
Economy 48-seater turboprop ATR-42 aircraft.
The flight CD 7817 will
depart Delhi at 0810 hrs, reach Gwalior at 0910 hrs and leave for
Jabalpur at 0930 hrs. It will arrive in Jabalpur at 1050 hrs. In the
return direction, CD 7818 will leave Jabalpur at 1110 hrs and arrive in
Gwalior at 1230 hrs. It will leave Gwalior at 1250 hrs and land in Delhi
at 1350 hrs.
The airline has offered
an attractive inaugural fare of Rs.3500 (one way all inclusive fare) for
travel between Delhi and Jabalpur.
New flights
to Rajasthan
Air India has also
introduced new flights to Rajasthan to facilitate the travel of tourists
and businessmen to and within the state. From February 15, 2008 the
airline has introduced six times a week services (except Sundays) with
ATR-42 aircraft linking Delhi and Jaipur, Jaipur and Jodhpur and Jaipur
and Udaipur. The Jaipur centric flights will enhance connectivity to
Jodhpur, Udaipur and Delhi.
The flight CD 7807
originates in Delhi at 0730 hrs and reaches Jaipur at 0825 hrs. On the
next leg, the flight operates Jaipur-Jodhpur, leaving Jaipur at 0845 hrs
and reaching Jodhpur at 0945 hrs. From Jodhpur, the flight returns to
Jaipur as CD 7812 with departure at 1005 hrs and arrival at 1105 hrs.
Thereafter, the flight links Udaipur as CD 7809, leaving Jaipur at 1130
hrs and reaching Udaipur at 1230 hrs. The return flight from Udaipur CD
7810 departs at 1250 hrs, reaches Jaipur at 1350 hrs and finally,
arrives in Delhi at 1510 hrs.
