Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2008

India's most notable fashion extravaganza, The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, kicked off with designer Vikram Phadnis's Show in New Delhi on Wednesday. Inspired by nature, the show was based on the theme 'save the earth'.

The show started with a ballet sequence giving an environment saving message. The first sequence saw warm, neutral, and earthy colors followed by muted tones of cream and ivory.

The collection saw jackets, knee length dresses, pleated skirts and shirts. Most of the outfits were done with beautiful embroidery. Apart from head gears, big bags in bold colors were used as accessories.

Actress Bipasha Basu, surprised audiences at the ongoing Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) by sporting her signature long tresses once again while walking the ramp for designer duo Gauri and Nainika Karan.
