Samsung Yepp YP-900 Music Jukebox
It
was only a matter of time before Samsung created a portable music jukebox; what’s surprising is how innovative the 10GB YP-900 is. Other jukeboxes let you rip music straight from a CD player (as opposed to the PC), but you almost always have to add track information by hand. The YP-900 "remembers" the CD that you ripped, and then downloads info to label the individual tracks later on, when it’s connected to a PC. The greatest feature is the built-in FM transmitter: Instead of fussing with cassette adapters, your MP3s are beamed wirelessly to your car stereo via the radio.

RCA Lyra Audio Video Jukebox
With a 3.5-in. colour video display on an iPod-like music jukebox, this 20GB player will keep track of MP3s, home videos, still photos and other files. Like other jukeboxes, you can transfer data from a PC using the high-speed USB 2.0 connection; what’s different this time is that you can record TV shows from a T.V. or VCR, with up to 80 hours of programming on the lowest setting. You can also play back everything on a TV or stereo.

PVP
This is an undated handout photo from Intel of their personal video player. Analysts are agog over the personal video player, or PVP, that chipmaker Intel and Replay TV maker SONIC blue are working on. Intel will show off several prototypes of the Walkman-sized PVP, with a 4-inch screen and storage for more than 10 hours of movies, at the Las Vegas International Consumer Electronics Show.
