Fortification of Israel has always been the prime agenda of the United States. Whenever and wherever some anti-Israel elements make headway, the US uses all its influence to crush that. America and virtually all the Western countries are fighting what they have phrased “Islamic terrorism”. However, the fact is that these nations have long harboured an ambition to uproot Islam and Muslims from the face of this planet. They have successfully created dissention among Muslims and now they are cashing in on it. The question, albeit, is why only Muslims? The answer is clear and simple: Muslims are considered terrorists and are targeted because they don’t recognize Israel, barring some Muslim leaders who are American stooges.   

          There is no denying the fact that America will crush all those who pose any kind of threat to Israel in any way.  

          America invaded Afghanistan with the purpose of nabbing Osama bin Laden. It pathetically failed, but in frustration, or to overcome its frustration, it massacred thousands of innocent civilians. Bush was content with uprooting the Taliban regime in Afghanistan, which he considered a threat to “world peace” (read Israel). However, the Taliban militia is still active in Afghanistan and the clandestine visit of Bush to Afghanistan earlier this year underlines this fact.  

          After invading Afghanistan, America targeted Iraq, a country headed by its own blue-eyed-boy, Saddam Husain. The reason stated was that Iraq possessed Weapons of Mass Destructions (WMDs), which were dangerous for the world (read again Israel). It soon became clear that this American SOS was a hoax, yet the whole world, remained silent. Saddam’s regime was toppled, and eventually he was captured. American invasion of Iraq will long be remembered for the infamous Abu Ghraib prison, which became synonymous with American brutality. Even though fingers are now being raised accusing the US for its misadventure in Iraq, it is not prepared to leave the country. All the more it has created conditions where the country is on the brink of a civil war.  

          After Iraq, America has turned to Iran, whose is “clandestine nuclear enrichment”. This, according to Bush’s wisdom, is also a threat to “world peace” (read Israel again). The reason is not hard to imagine: Iran has always openly questioned Israel’s existence on illegally occupied Palestinian territory. The US is now trying to convince the world that Iran is on the verge of building nuclear weapons, and obviously the only way to stop it from going nuclear is to attack it and destroy it. 

          Lebanon is the latest case. After remaining under Zionist occupation for more than two decades it is again facing the Zionist terror. Hezbollah is committed to armed resistance to the state of Israel itself and aims to liberate all Palestinian territories and Jerusalem from Israeli occupation. Bush, while addressing the media, said that Hezbollah was a big threat to “world peace” (once again, read Israel). Hezbollah (party of God) was formed in 1982 following the Israel’s invasion of Lebanon. Hezbollah was immensely influenced by the Islamic revolution of Iran and by the charismatic leadership of Ayatollah Rohullah Khomeini, who was instrumental enough to liberated Iran from the clutches of American imperialism (led by the Shah). The raison d'ętre behind the birth of Hezbollah was to expel Jews from their country who had occupied it by force. Hezbollah launched a campaign against the occupants and finally emerged triumphant. Lebanon was declared a free country on May 25, 2000.  

          After so much destruction in Lebanon, support for Hezbollah should have crumbled, but it had the opposite effect. Israel’s invasion of Lebanon has immensely contributed towards the popularity of Hezbollah and its leader Sheikh Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, much to the disappointment of Israel and its guardian, America. The people of Lebanon hold Hezbollah militia in great esteem and they believe that only Hezbollah is capable of fighting the Zionist terror. There is another reason why the people of Lebanon admire Hezbollah. Acording to CNN: “Hezbollah did everything that a government should do, from collecting the garbage to running hospitals and repairing schools.” On May 2006 as UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs also stated that “Hezbollah not only has armed and political wings -- it also boasts an extensive social development programme. The group currently operates at least four hospitals, 12 clinics, 12 schools and two agricultural centres that provide farmers with technical assistance and training. It also has an environmental department and an extensive social assistance programme. Medical care is also cheaper than in most of the country’s private hospitals and free for Hezbollah members.” 

          Hezbollah has been labelled as terrorist organisation by the United States, Israel, Canada, and Australia. However, UK and the Netherland think otherwise. Hezbollah, in the words of Robert Fisk, is “one of the toughest guerella armies in the world.” Yossi Alpher, a member of Mossad, the Israeli intelligence service who used to head the Jaffe Centre for Strategic Studies at Tel Aviv University, recently said, “I dare say, based on what we’ve seen so far, these [Hezbollah] may be the best Arab troops we’ve ever faced.” 

Israeli Captain Doron Spielman has also asserted, “They’re well trained, well equipped, and ready to die as can be seen from the very small number of prisoners taken by Israeli forces.” 

The leaders of Israel are well aware of the fact that if its troops are not able to disband Hezbollah, it will indirectly mean that Hezbollah has won.  It would be not less than a victory for Hezbollah to resist the mighty attacks of Israel, backed by the United States.  

The query that frequently strikes the minds of everyone is why America supports Israel. The fact that Israel is one of the top ranked trade partners of America. Here are the statistical data of Israel’s trade with three major States of America.  

Total exports since 1991 from the State of California estimates to $11,011,742,030. Military Contracts with Israel in 2005 Using Foreign Military Financing: $91,750,254. Israel’s rank as trade partner: 17. Jewish Percentage of Total Population: 2.9. 

 Total exports since 1991 from the State of New York amounts to $28,826,519,821. Military Contracts with Israel in 2005 using Foreign Military Financing: $119,909,654. Israel’s rank as trade partner: 2. Jewish Percentage of Total Population: 8.7.  

Total exports since 1991 from the State of Washington amounts to $2,984,013,982. Military Contracts with Israel in 2005 using Foreign Military Financing: $4,405,169. Jewish Percentage of Total Population: 0.7.  

America has no option but to support Israel because if Israel comes under attack the American economy will feel the blow.  

Israel troops have so far killed hundreds of civilians, mostly children, and amidst all this blood shedding, the United Nation is watching as a mere spectator. The fact is that the U.N. today is nothing more than a farce.   

To conclude, here is an important message to the Islamic world by the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, “The Islamic world and the Muslim youth in all the Islamic nations should also realize that the only way to stand against the savage wolf of Zionism and the aggressions of the Great Satan (America) is by dedicated resistance. Surrender and capitulation before the reckless and scheming American government will only add to their greed and blatant defiance and make things harder for the nations.”
