Sunjay Dutt is fighting a decisive battle. As the infamous Bombay blast case is coming to an end, Sunjay has urged the designated TADA court to acquit him in the 1993 bomb blast case. The reason? He says the prosecution has failed to produce any evidence establishing his connection with the bomb blast. Submitting 100 pages of written arguments to designated judge P.D. Kode on June 25, Mr Dutt said there was no evidence to suggest that he had conspired with 172 others to commit terrorist acts in Mumbai between January and March 1993. He further denied the charge that he had accepted from the other accused three AK-56 rifles, ammunition, a 9mm pistol, cartridges and hand grenades. He also refuted allegations that he had kept one AK-56 rifle and returned the other weapons. He said the prosecution was relying on his confession or those of the co-accused.

She might miss a man in her life, but that doesn’t stop the Ex Miss World from enjoying the life to the hilt. Like for instance the other day we caught her in Marine Drive, enjoying first brush of rains that lashed the city .It was quite a cute sight, the entire Chopra clan was seen freaking out in the rain. The ever-glowing Scorpio has been signed on for Manisha Koirala’s debut venture as producer which is titled ‘Paisa Vasool,’ and interestingly, Manisha is a part of the film as well. The two beauties play urban women. The flick depicts urban lifestyles and relationships. Well, we hope that Manisha receives her investment’s worth and more from this one. After all she along with the audience should be the one saying ‘Paisa Vasool’!

Filmmaking is also about people - not just ‘reel’ characters but ‘real’ souls. And somewhere down the line the profession also deals with human relationships. And the news out here is that during the shooting of ‘Om Jai Jagdish’ - a film that marks Anupam Kher’s directorial debut - Abhishek and Fardeen got along particularly well, and are best friends today. The ‘brotherly’ relationship in the film seems to have been transmitted into the real life scenario, probably making it that much more easier for Mr. Director Kher to transfer the positive off-screen chemistry shared by the two onto the 70 mm screen. After all, ‘Om Jai Jagdish’ is a ‘prayer for togetherness,’ remember?
