In a bid to dig at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and showcase the lowering popularity of the AAP in Delhi, Swaraj Abhiyan founder and psephologist Yogendra Yadav tweeted that AAP is about to lose its deposit in Rajauri Garden assembly by-poll where the party had registered robust victory with a large margin.
“Rajouri Garden by-poll: AAP losing deposit where it won 2015: AAP 47% BJP+ 38% Cong 12%. Current count 4th round: BJP+ 50% Cong 33% AAP 10%,” tweeted Yadav. Yadav has founded Swaraj Abhiyan and has pitted candidates in coming Delhi MCD Polls. In 2015, Yadav and Prashant Bhushan were ousted from AAP on anti-party activity allegations. The Rajauri Garden by-poll results are important as it is expected to give a trend in Delhi MCD Polls slated on April 23rd. This by-poll result is in sync with the recent MCD Poll surveys which indicates huge victory for the BJP.
