Death Sentence to Kulbhushan Jadhav Would Be Considered Murder: MEA

In a bid to safeguard alleged Indian spy held in Pakistan captive and put pressure on the Pakistani establishment to ensure release of Kulbhushan Jadhav, the Ministry of External Afairs (MEA) has said that any attempt by Pak to award death sentence to the Indian would be considered ‘murder.’ The MEA said it in a written press statement released on April 13thin New Delhi.

“Kulbhushan Jadhav is innocent and any attempt to award death sentence to Kulbhushan Jadhav would be considered murder,” read the MEA press statement.
